What to expect when you call or text

Calling

After you call, you’ll be welcomed and asked to select a language, then follow prompts to continue.

Texting / messaging online

  • You’ll receive a few automated messages about the service and privacy policy.
  • Then you’ll be connected with a trained volunteer crisis responder.
  • You can end the conversation at any time by texting STOP.

Privacy and safety approach

Good2Talk states your conversation is private and is only shared outside the service if staff are worried about your safety and they know your identifying information.
