Your Contributions Make a Difference

This Crisis Resources Directory exists to help people find the support they need when they need it most. You can help us make sure that happens.

Every day, young people, families, educators, and professionals across Canada turn to this directory looking for crisis support. When the information here is accurate and up-to-date, we're doing our part to connect people with help. But we can't do this aloneβ€”we need your help to keep this resource as reliable as possible.

πŸ“‹ Help Us Fact-Check

Have you recently contacted one of the resources listed here? Let us know if:

  • Contact information (phone numbers, websites, emails) is correct
  • Service hours have changed
  • A service has expanded to new areas or added new programs
  • Eligibility criteria or age ranges have been updated

πŸ”„ Update Outdated Information

Organizations change, and so do their services. If you notice:

  • A resource is no longer available
  • A phone number no longer works
  • A website has moved or been redesigned
  • Service descriptions that don't match what's currently offered

βž• Suggest New Resources

Know of a crisis service that should be included? We want to hear about it! Tell us about:

  • New crisis lines or support services
  • Culturally-specific resources
  • Services for underserved communities
  • Regional or local crisis programs

Getting in Touch

We read every contribution that comes our way. Please send your updates, corrections, or suggestions to:

ymhc-crisis-resources-database@ymhc.ngo

When you reach out, it's helpful (but not required) to include:

  • The name or URL of the resource you're referring to
  • The specific information that needs updating
  • The correct or current information (if you have it)
  • Any additional context that might be useful

Thank You

Every correction, update, and suggestion helps ensure that someone in crisis can find the help they're looking for. Whether you're a mental health professional, a community member, someone who's used these services, or simply someone who caresβ€”thank you for taking the time to help keep this directory accurate.
