The Saskatoon Mental Health & Addictions Central Intake is the point of entry for non‑emergency mental health and addiction services provided through the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Saskatoon.   • Closed: Evenings, weekends and statutory holidays

What to expect when you call​

When you call, an intake worker will ask about your mental health or addiction concerns and collect basic information. They will assess your needs and connect you to appropriate Saskatchewan Health Authority programs, community‑based counselling or other supports. Calls may involve wait times if the line is busy.

Notes​

  • If you need after‑hours or emergency help, call 9‑8‑8 (national suicide and mental health crisis line), HealthLine 811 or 911 if there is an immediate risk.
  • People outside Saskatoon or in the Five Hills Health Region should call 306‑691‑6464 or 1‑877‑564‑0543 for mental health and addictions intake.
  • HealthLine 811 is a confidential 24/7 health and mental health advice line staffed by registered nurses and social workers.
