  • People seeking short-term emotional support and help finding next steps or local resources

What to expect when you call or text

When you connect, a responder will:

  • listen without judgment;
  • ask clarifying questions if helpful;
  • discuss options and next steps; and
  • help you make a short plan (which may include referrals to local resources).

Privacy and safety approach

CMHA Yukon states calls are confidential, with limited exceptions (for example, when there is intent to harm yourself, someone else, or a child, where reporting requirements may apply).
