What to expect when you call
- You’ll speak with a trained health professional (registered nurse, and in some cases a nurse practitioner) who can listen, provide crisis support, and help connect you to services in your area.
- If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Notes
If you are thinking about suicide or worried about someone else anywhere in Canada, you can also call or text 9-8-8 (24/7).
