About

BounceBack® is a free, evidence-based CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) skill-building program run by the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick (CMHA NB). It offers telephone coaching and self-guided materials (workbooks, activities, videos).

Coverage

Who it’s for

  • Youth 15–18 and adults 19+ who want support for low mood, mild-to-moderate depression, anxiety, stress, or worry
  • Not meant for emergencies or immediate crisis situations

What to expect

  • Coaching is delivered in up to six telephone sessions (often 15–20 minutes) over about 3–6 months
  • You can be referred by a primary care provider, or self-refer online (the program may contact your primary care provider)
  • Workbooks may be mailed to you (you can choose where they are sent)

Privacy and safety approach

  • The program emphasizes privacy and confidentiality, and may complete routine risk checks during coaching sessions. If you need urgent help, use local crisis supports (e.g., 988, 911).
